Electricity Trauma Towards Christmas

The biggest story in December is always christmas where it is an exciting moment for everyone except when the wallet has lodged in alot of complaints. Now this time it is very different for me because i just cant explain what was up with electricity.

To put a number of things together before they year ends just like most people, i leave office a bit late and when ireach home, i find people gathered with all their attention on our house and i speak in strange tongues immediately. Getting close, all i see are serious sparks a few metres away from my roof. We stay out for about an hour but later i think the "defaulters" rectify.

Am excited because one of my girlfriends is back from Germany after three years and she feels like african food which takes us to a restaurant called Luwombo[a certain african food] in Kamwokya, a Kampala surburb.The three of us plus our four year old kid are very relaxed and enjoyig our meal. Half way through, we are tempted to think it is fire works. Shouts of exclamation awaken us and power goes off immediately.

Moving out in shock, the electric pole is on "fire" i should say. Meanwhile am wondering what is really going on with electricity.
